This was such a great activity to do with my children. Friendly staff, with helpful direction when needed. Lovely atmosphere, and very relaxing. Can't wait to see our finished painted pottery and book our next visit.
Maya was our instructor at our pottery session. She has a very calming aura, and was very detailed during the demo which made the experience very easy. She was attentive and helped a lot. She also has a great personality me and my friend enjoyed talking about our fave books during the session. Very nice girl who really added to the experience! The staff were lovely at bonbon and the drinks were very nice and well presented. I would 100% come again and I’d recommend to everyone who’d like a calm activity to enjoy. Can’t wait to pick up my pottery!
We had a fantastic experience at Bon Bon Pottery! It was our first time trying the hand-building session, and it was so much easier than we expected.
Alice was absolutely brilliant so friendly, patient, and always there to help whenever we needed it. She made us feel really comfortable and confident throughout.
Everyone was so welcoming, and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. We were also pleasantly surprised by how little mess there was!
We had such a lovely time and will definitely be back to try some of the other activities. Highly recommend!
Really fun few hours with my mum doing the hands on pottery workshop where we shaped our own creations and then painted them. The team were friendly, helpful and the atmosphere was calming but vibrant.
We had an amazing time at the studio!! The staff were amazing and so attentive to our needs. Drinks were top notch as well, definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for something to do in Kingston. Though it gets quite packed during the weekends but i would 100% recommend :))
Did a pottery painting session on a Saturday afternoon and was really pleased with the experience.
The room is exquisitely decorated, making sitting down and painting extremely relaxing. The staff will explain the basics and then let you do your thing independently. Time flew by.
The good thing is that you only pay for the pottery you pick - which is obviously not cheap - but we found various options to be priced reasonably (I think paid around £20 for a small vase).
After painting, ceramic will be put in the oven and be available for collection (or shipping) in a couple of weeks.
I would definitely recommend this experience.

Everyone was so friendly and made the experience extra special for my partner and I, explained all that needed to be told and was super attentive to all customers . Soothing music while finding our inner artist within us. Really pleased we attended and can’t wait to see the final product. Will definitely come back with the kids and in a bigger group. Love the fact you can bring your own non alcoholic drinks and nibbles for a small fee £5 but you can also be provided with alcoholic and soft drinks as well as hot drinks. 😉
I have just finished the 5-week Foundation Pottery Course with Maya and I cannot recommend this course highly enough. If you have toyed with the idea of getting started with pottery, this is such a perfect place to start.
Maya is a brilliantly knowledgeable teacher who leads you through all the key stages, from wedging and hand-building, to wheel throwing, refining, and decorating. She also provides you with plenty of space and creative freedom to play and experiment, so you can focus on and practice the techniques that specifically interest you. Don't expect a stuffy classroom; you'll be leaving covered in clay (if you're like me) and full of ideas for what you want to do next!
The price of the course allows you to keep five small pieces, but the option is there to pay a little extra to fire and glaze more. Our group made a range of items, including: cups, a pair of vases, a candle holder, a butter dish, the cutest little charcuterie board for one...! Maya encouraged us to design and sketch ideas in-between sessions, which was a fun and useful exercise outside of the classes.
Bonbon Pottery Cafe itself is such a delightful spot, run by the loveliest people. Coffee is excellent. There's honestly nothing more relaxing than sitting at the back of the studio on a Saturday morning with a coffee, painting something you've spent the past few weeks working on, and chatting with your fellow potters. I only wish that I could do it all again. Thank you, Maya and the Bonbon team!

My friend and I had the best time at the pottery studio today! The space is so artistic, and the drinks were so yummy but what truly made our experience amazing though was the friendliest workers, Iris and Jess!! They were so kind, welcoming, and helpful! Love it!
Very therapeutic and fulfilled my sensory urges to paint. Staff were much much more polite than the other branch I mistakenly went to beforehand. Instructions were clear and atmosphere was welcoming and calming :)
Such a fun place- choose what you'd like to paint and get stuck in. We loved it- we aren't artistic or anything but we really enjoyed it. Tasty drinks too, helpful staff and nice vibes. They offer painting parties for kids which looks fun, and there were some women there on a hen do- nice and diverse. Cant wait to pick up my fired dog bowl
Such a lovely and fun experience! My brother and I did the pottery painting session. There was a great range of pottery, paint colours and stencils to choose from. Such a chill and warm atmosphere, too. You could even order cold and warm drinks. Would definitely go again with my partner and friends.

Lovely little pottery place. Perfect for families with kids and also grownups to do some pottery activities and theres many choices to choose from. Clean interior and staff are helpful. Was there at the opening and they’re doing 15% off at the moment. Will definitely come back !
