Bond & Build Class (Slab Building)

  • 3 hours of guided learning and hands-on crafting.
  • Suitable for children ages 7 – 18+ 
  • Each booking is for 1 Child & 1 Parent
  • Learn the art of shaping clay with just your hands together!
  • You can personalise your piece with our underglaze paint on the same day.
  • After crafting your pieces, you have the option to take them home to air dry. These air-dried creations serve as beautiful decorative items, though they are quite delicate and not suited for practical applications.
  • If you’re looking for a glossy, waterproof, and food-safe finish, we provide kiln firing services for an additional £10. Your finished pottery will be available for collection in 4 – 6 weeks

Refund Policy

  • A full refund is available if the cancellation occurs more than 5 days prior to the session.
  • One rescheduling opportunity is permitted without a refund if the request is made at least 3 days before the session. No further rescheduling opportunities will be provided.
  • No refunds or rescheduling are allowed within 2 days of the session.
  • This policy applies regardless of whether the booking was made within 5 days of the session start date.

    • Frequently Asked Question (FAQ)

    The hand-building and painting activities are scheduled for the same day. During the 3 hour session, we will use a heat gun to dry your hand-built pottery, so it will be ready for painting right away.

    • This session is suitable for children 7 – 18 and their accompanying parents.
    • This class is not suitable for children under 7.

    This class does not offer wheel throwing.

    For our DIY sessions, we offer the option for you to bring your own drinks or cold food items (excluding pizza) at an additional cost of £5 per person. We recommend purchasing these options when booking your session online. If not, these options can be paid for in-store. Please remember to clean up any food waste at the end of your session.

    Please note that we can supply glass cups, so there’s no need for you to bring your own.
